• BATHING

  CATS We provide bathing and grooming of cats.  Cat owners sometimes have a difficult time combing out their pet.  We take special care to calm the cat to encourage their cooperation.  In some cases where the cat is fearful or aggressive about being groomed, we have the ability to administer an anesthetic, comb and bath the cat and it is discharged later the same day.  This is easier and less traumatic for the cat.  We only do this after consultation with the owner. If an anesthetic is to be given,  preanesthetic blood tests are encouraged to ensure a safe outcome in every case. Treat your pet to a luxurious bath. Our special, cleansing baths remove dirt, debris and that doggie pet odor – your pet will feel fresh and revitalized. If scratching is a problem, our medicated baths contain soothing agents that stop the itching. Services also include nail trim and ear cleaning.

• BEHAVIORAL MEDICINE

  Illness doesn't always have a physical cause. We employ trained animal behaviorists who help determine the cause of such disorders as separation anxiety and obsessive behavior, and then develop a treatment regimen for the client.

• BIRDS, REPTILES, RABBITS AND SMALL MAMMALS

  Veterinary medicine for exotic pets is growing as the popularity of these animals increase. With better public education in health, nutritional and environmental management, all species have a greater chance for living longer and healthier lives. • DENTAL CARE

  Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. We use modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity.  We also have many produts to keep your pet's teeth clean at home and reduce bad breath.

  Our mobile health unit responds to house calls if you are unable to bring your pet to the clinic.  Please call ahead for an appointment.

• PAIN MANAGEMENT

  Veterinary patients feel pain and discomfort under the same circumstances as people do. We know that recognizing and alleviating pain in animals is the essence of good patient care.  We use pain mendications for all surgeries.  Please talk to us if you think your pet is suffering from chrinic pain, such as arthritis, at home.

  Radiology – or X-rays – help our veterinarians evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular(cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems.

• SPECIALISTS

  Sometimes conditions arise that require veterinarians with specialized training. We have acess to traveling veterinarians that specialize in internal medicine and surgery to evaluate your pet.  Occasionaly it is necessary that we refer you to an ophthamologist or dermatologist to have your pet receive the most comprehensive care.

  Our veterinary surgeons include specialists able to perform eye surgery, neurosurgery and orthopedic surgical procedures.

• ULTRASOUND

  This non-invasive, state-of-the-art technology uses sound waves to painlessly examine specific internal organs, primarily the heart and abdominal organs. Pregnancy exams are also available.
