Doctor
Dr. Laura Pampreen , D.V.M. Dr. Pampreen is a graduate of Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. She has an interest in internal medicine and oncology.
Dr. William Keish , DVM Dr. Keish graduated from the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1967. He joined the Glastonbury Veterinary Hospital in 1974 and has enjoyed seeing the practice flourish and grow to a four doctor practice that includes his daughter, Dr. Laura Pampreen. Dr. Keish enjoys surgery and takes special pride in seeing the sons and daughters of his first clients now bring their pets to the Glastonbury Veterinary Hospital.
Dr. Keish grew up on a dairy farm in Manchester, Connecticut which may explain why he has a pet steer named George along with a cat, Norman. Dr. Keish and his wife, Nancy, have three children and six grand children. Happily all but 1 of the grandchildren are nearby and "Papa" certainly likes spending time with them. He claims to have only one vice and that is UCONN basketball. He attends all the mens and womens games and has been know to actually leave work early to be at the games on time.
Dr. Keish is past president of the Hartford County 4-H Camp and currently serves as the Assistant Treasurer working with their annual fund drive. Dr. Keish is a member of the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Associatioin, the Greater Hartford Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Animal Hospital Association. |  View |
Dr. Jessica Kaleta , V.M.D.

Dr. Kaleta is the newest doctor, having joined Glastonbury Veterinary Hospital in June 2005 upon graduation from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine. She attended Bates College in Maine where she received her undergraduate interdisciplinary degree in biopsychology and did 3 years of neurosurgery research at UPENN before attending veterinary school there. She has always had a strong love of medicine and animals and truly enjoys the challenge of combining these two passions for such deserving patients who are such important members of our families.
Having grown up in western Massachusetts, Dr. Kaleta is thrilled to be back in New England and happy to have found such a supportive practice to work in so close to both her and her husband's families. She currently resides in Suffield with her husband Jason, her daughter Emily, her beagle Bailey, and 2 cats, Sam and Suzy Peepers. |

Kristen Peterson Dr. Peterson went to Elon University in Burlington, NC where she recieved her Bachelor of Science in Biology. She recieved her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Prince Edward Island where she graduated third in her class. She lives with two Tibetan Terriers named Barnaby and Tucker with more to come. In addition to a special interest in internal medicine, Dr. Peterson's favorite part of being a veterinarian is helping people care for their animals. She loves soccer and enjoys spending time with her friends and family in her spare time.
Management
Robin Robin joined the GVH team in 1998 as a receptionist. She helped run the front desk for 2 years before switching roles and working as a veterinary assistant for 3 years. Robin then left the practice to pursue other intresets. She came back last February to work part time in the office (some of you may have seen her running around with her daughter). In January 2009, Robin joined the staff full time as Office Manager. She is very happy to be back working with those she considers "family".
Robin's favorite hobbies are cooking and baking, but thankfully she and her husband also love hiking (to work off the extra calories!). Robin lives with her husband Jack, daughter Marina and her dog Abby.
Certified Veterinary Technicians
Sandy , B.S.,C.V.T. Sandy is a certified veterinary technician, having earned her A.A.S. degree with high honors in veterinary technology in 1973 from SUNY Dellhi, Delhi, N.Y. and her B.S. degree cum laude in laboratory animal science from U.V.M., Burlington, VT in 1975.
Sandy has been with the Glastonbury Veterinary Hospital since 1976, having taken time off from 1985-1995 to raise a family. She has seen many changes in the profession and continually strives to remain current with new information and technology through continuing education opportunities.
Sandy's special interests include duckpin bowling, co-ed softball, Nascar, cooking and for as long as she can remember, animals. Her family has colonial roots in Manchester, CT and that is where she resides with her two college age sons, Richard and Ryan, 5 cats (Mo, Dodger, Jamie, Taylor and Scuba Steve) and one rabbit (Pita).

Heidi Heidi graduated from the Vet Tech Institute at Bradford School in Columbus, Ohio in October of 2007. Heidi began working at Glastonbury Veterinary Hospital in December of 2007. She enjoys working with all types of animals and continuing to learn each day as she works.
Heidi currently has a rabbit named Kermit, and 2 cats named Noodle and Luci.
Client Service & Reception
Pat Pat is one of the newest members to join the Glastonbury Veterinary Hospital staff. She started Thanksgiving week of 2008. Pat is currently working towards her Veterinary Receptionist certification at Cedar Valley College.
Pat and her husband David are empty nesters living in Rocky Hill. They share their condo with Mr. Tibbs (a Tibetan Terrier) and his two feline sisters, Blossom and Sunshine.
Besides her furry family, Pat and David raised three beautiful children; Paul, Jennifer, and Eric. They have also acquired a lovely daughter-in-law Joelle, and a wonderful son-in-law Sondre.
She is thankful for all of her blessings which include working with the great staff of GVH and getting to know and helping GVH's extended family of clients and patients (puppy kisses are especially appreciated).
Sarah Sarah joined the GVH team in September of 2009 as a receptionist. She lives in Manchester with her two kitties Daisy and Cole.
Sarah is thrilled to join a team dedicated to helping animals, one of her biggest passions, and hopes to start school in the near future to become a veterinary technician.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and traveling when she can.

Kennel Assistants
Wanda Wanda Lopez is the newest member of the GVH team. Wanda works as our kennel assistant and is training to work as a Veterinary Assistant. She is also taking classes part time to one day be a certified veterinary technician.
Wanda is the proud owner of four mixed breed dogs (her favorite type of dog). When not busy with school, work or her dogs, she can be found watching her favorite sports!

Stephanie

Stephaine joined the GVH team in January 2006. Her goal is to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. She is interested in dog behavior and will acquire more knowledge on canine education by atending the Connecticut K-9 Education Center in the future.
Working at Glastonbury veterinary hospital has given Stephanie the opportunity to be exposed to the veterinary world. She owns two dogs, Cookie-Crisp and Hubble, and two cats named Kitty-Jinx and Pantera. She also owns five budgies. |

Maggie Bio coming soon.
Beth B Beth Lives in Manchester with her husband and her variety of critters including spot the rat terrier, her chickens daisy and doris, and her ducks egbert and sparky. Beth worked as a retail manager for years and has recently decided to continue her dream of working in the animal world after being away from it for a year. Beth is also working on completing a visual fine arts degree.
