Pre-Surgical and Anesthetic Instructions
The following instructions are here for you to provide a transition of ease for you and your pet when being admitted for an anesthetic procedure.
•Please do not feed your pet after midnight the night before surgery.
•Your pet may have water until they arrive at our hospital.
•Please do not bring bedding or toys as they are provided in the hospital for your pets comfort.
•If your pet is on any medication and is staying with us overnight please bring the medication and be prepared to verify dosage.
•We offer Hill's Science Diet in hospital, if your pet prefers another diet you may bring it with you.
•We do an exam and pre-anesthetic bloodwork for all procedures requiring anesthesia, for animals over 10 we would like to get urine so please try to avoid urination if possible.
